Resumen de Ciberacoso como forma de violencia en las unidades educativas del cantón Babahoyo

  El acoso escolar se ha ido expandiendo y han ido apareciendo nuevas formas de maltrato, una de ellas es el ciberacoso, el cual utiliza las nuevas tecnologías, las redes sociales y el teléfono móvil, para producir conductas de violencia entre iguales. Este artículo tiene como objetivo caracterizar este fenómeno y diagnosticar el conocimiento del tema y las formas de manifestación entre adolescentes en la ciudad de Babahoyo, así como proponer acciones para mitigar o erradicar la presencia de actos de ciberacoso en estas edades. Se concluyó que este fenómeno afecta considerablemente los derechos de las niñas, niños y adolescentes dentro del ámbito educativo y su vida diaria, con mayor repercusión si no existe una correcta intervención de las autoridades educativas y las familias. Se recomienda a las instituciones educativas socializar esta problemática para informar a la sociedad en general sobre cómo actuar si conoce de víctimas de ciberacoso y la manera correcta y efectiva de prevenir y erradicar el acoso escolar mediante plataformas electrónicas mediante la puesta en práctica de las acciones propuestas en esta investigación

  School bullying has been expanding and new forms of abuse have been appearing, one of them is cyberbullying, which uses new technologies, social networks and mobile phones, to produce violent behaviorbetween equals. This article aims to characterize this phenomenon and discover the knowledge of the subject and the forms of manifestation among adolescents in the city of Babahoyo, as well as to propose actions to reduce or eradicate the presence of acts of cyberbullying in these ages. It was concluded that this phenomenon considerably affects the rights of children and adolescents within the educational field and their daily life, with greater repercussion if there is no correct intervention of the educational authorities and families.
