Resumen de Integración del morfotipo en el programa de mejora genética de la cabra Murciano Granadina

  Se midieron a un total 300 cabras Murciano-Granadinas, procedentes de 10 explotaciones, las partes del animal que el sistema de calificación lineal incluye como caracteres a evaluar. Las mediciones se realizaron a cabras nacidas de inseminación artificial y a sus madres. La comprobación de la paternidad de los animales se efectuó mediante análisis de filiación.El padre de las cabras tuvo un efecto significativo sobre la alzada a la cruz (AC), el ligamento suspensormedio (LSM), el diámetro del pezón (DP) y la profundidad de la ubre (PU). La ganadería influyó significativamente sobre todas variables medidas excepto sobre el ángulo de grupa (ANG). En cambio elestado de lactación tan solo influyó sobre la profundidad de la ubre (PU) y el número de lactación sobre la altura a la cruz (AC), la anchura de grupa (ANCG) y la profundidad de ubre (PU).

  A total of 300 Murciano-Granadina goats from 10 flocks were measured. All traits were recorded followingthe linear appraisal proposed by Muñoz et al. (2005). Only inseminated goats and their daughterswere measured. Paternity testing was assessed by genetic fingerprinting.Sire effect was significant, affecting the height to the withers (AC), the suspensory ligament (LSM), thediameter of the teat (DP) and the depth of the udder (PU). Flock effect had effect on all variables excepton the croup angle (ANG). On the other hand, the lactation phase only had effect on the depth ofthe udder (PU) and the lactation number affected the height to the withers (AC), the croup width (ANCG)and the udder depth (PU).
