    La necesidad de reestructurar la actividad económica y los modelos de negocio en consonancia con los objetivos del Pacto Verde Europeo es más apremiante que nunca dada la urgencia en mitigar el cambio climático. El artículo analiza las iniciativas legislativas sostenibles desarrolladas en la UE, el rol de la titulización verde en este empeño y la necesidad de implementar, más allá del deber de divulgar los riesgos sostenibles vinculados al negocio y producto financiero verde que ofrezca el emisor, mecanismos de ejecución y supervisión y para evita potenciales conflictos entre emisores e inversores en un futuro próximo y, sobre todo, para potenciar la credibilidad en las finanzas medioambientalmente sostenibles.

    The need to restructure economic activity and business models in line with the objectives of the European Green Deal is more pressing than ever given the urgency to mitigate climate change. The article analyzes the sustainable legislative initiatives developed in the EU, the role of green securitization in this endeavor and the need to implement enforcement mechanisms beyond the duty to disclose environmental-related risks linked to the issuer’s business and the green financial instrument offered to the public in order, first, to avoid potential conflicts between issuers and investors in the near future and, second, to enhance the credibility in green finance.
