Resumen de Relações de trabalho e de poder entre imigrantes e empregadores na fronteira da Amazônia Legal: um estudo à luz de Foucault aplicando a Grounded Theory

  This study investigates the impacts of immigration on labor relations (LR), focusing on power relations that integrate the relations between employers and immigrants, a rare topic in the area of management. The methodological path is based on the Grounded Theory in its constructivist perspective, which enabled simultaneous processes of observation, collection, treatment  and analysis of data after successive immersions in the field, which involved 40 interviews with immigrants of different nationalities and 9 employers who operate in the border region of the Legal Amazon (State of Mato Grosso). The research showed the power games that happen from the impasse in the LR between immigrants and employers, in which the disparity of power is huge, thus limiting the multivectoriality of power relations within the Foucaultian perspective. It also deepened the understanding of the social role played by immigrants in a region far from urban industrial centers, where not much research is carried out.

  Este estudo investiga os impactos da imigração nas relações de trabalho (RTs) com foco nas relações de poder que integram as relações entre empregadores e imigrantes, tema muito raro na literatura em administração. O percurso metodológico baseou-se na Grounded Theory em sua perspectiva construtivista, o que possibilitou simultâneos processos de observação, coleta, tratamento, refinamento e análise de dados após sucessivas imersões a campo, que envolveram 40 entrevistas com imigrantes de diferentes nacionalidades e 9 empregadores que atuam na região fronteiriça da Amazonia Legal, no estado de Mato Grosso. A pesquisa mostrou os jogos de poder que acontecem a partir do impasse nas RTs entre imigrantes e os empregadores, em que a disparidade de poder é enorme, limitando a multivetorialidade das relações de poder dentro da perspectiva Foucaultiana. Aprofundou-se também no entendimento do papel social ocupado pelos imigrantes numa região distante dos centros industriais urbanos, onde poucas pesquisas são realizadas.
