A visão das crianças ribeirinhas com deficiência sobre si e sobre a comunidade

    This article is part of the Scientific Initiation research carried out with the support of CNPq and aims to present the child's view of himself and the community in which he lives. Field research was carried out and photography and semi-structured interviews were used with eight riverside children with disabilities up to twelve years old who are assisted at the Specialized Educational Service Center - CAEE in the municipality of Maracanã (PA). The results reveal that riverside children with disabilities perceive themselves differently from others; reveal to like their hair, eyes, mouth; as for the community, they show they like the church, their peers, and others emphasize the streams and fishing.

    O presente artigo é recorte de uma pesquisa de Iniciação Científica realizada com o apoio do CNPq e objetiva apresentar a visão da criança ribeirinha com deficiência sobre si e sobre a comunidade em que reside. Realizou-se pesquisa de campo e utilizou-se a fotografia e a entrevista semiestruturada com oito crianças ribeirinhas com deficiência de até doze anos que são atendidas no Centro de Atendimento Educacional Especializado – CAEE no município de Maracanã (PA). Os resultados revelam que as crianças ribeirinhas com deficiência se percebem diferente das demais; revelam gostar de seus cabelos, olhos, boca; quanto à comunidade, revelam gostar da igreja, de coleguinhas, outras dão ênfase aos igarapés e à pesca.
