Desde la mirada histórica, los registros sobre las experiencias de viaje ofrecen un amplio repertorio de formas y funciones. Puntualmente, el viaje de ocio y turismo tuvo sentidos particulares para las mujeres, razón por la cual el presente trabajo se propone indagar en sus significaciones, dar idea de algunos de los grupos que se movilizaron, los imaginarios que se pusieron en juego y las prácticas que se activaron. El destino es Mar del Plata, un balneario costero al sudeste de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina durante las décadas de los veinte y hasta los cuarenta del siglo xx, tiempo de una coyuntura nacional que influyó en el impulso al turismo y en la generación de grupos veraneantes más plurales.
From a historical perspective, records of travel experiences offer a wide repertoire of forms and functions. Specifically, the leisure and tourism trip had particular meanings for women, that is why in this work it is proposed to investigate their meanings, give an idea of some of the groups that mobilized, the imaginary was put into play and the practices were activated. The destination is Mar del Plata, a seaside resort in the southeast of the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina towards the 1920s-1940s, the time of a national situation that influenced the promotion of tourism and the generation of more plural summer groups. From there it is inferred that although traveling and spending a vacation time implies experiences shared by those who are tourists, those experiences are neither general nor static, on the contrary, they involve disparate senses and mobile processes, according to the group belonging to the which is.
