«La Lozana andaluza» de Chumy Chúmez (1983): del «retrato» a la comedia erótica

    Este artículo analiza el episodio televisivo La Lozana andaluza, incluido en la serie Las pícaras (1983). En él se compara la novela de Francisco Delicado (1530) con el telefilme de Chumy Chúmez (guionista y director del mismo), explicando los resultados estéticos del trasvase en relación con el contexto cinematográfico del destape y con las principales soluciones narrativas. Asimismo, se pone de manifiesto que, pese a la carga erótica de la adaptación de Chumy Chúmez, se evita el realismo del «retrato», acomodando su sentido al happy end de la comedia erótica.

    This article analyzes the television episode La Lozana andaluza, it is included in the series Las pícaras (1983). It compares the novel by Francisco Delicado (1530) with the telefilm by Chumy Chúmez (scriptwriter and director), explaining the aesthetic results of the transfer in relation to the cinematographic context of the destape and the main narrative solutions. Likewise, it is shown that, despite the erotic charge of the adaptation by Chumy Chúmez, the realism of the «retrato» is avoided and its meaning is accommodated to the happy end of erotic comedy.
