    El anuncio de la beatificación de Teresa de Jesús trajo consigo la organización de diversos festejos por todos los rincones de España. En este artículo se analizan aquellos relacionados con los espectáculos pirotécnicos y fuegos artificiales, con el fin de demostrar cómo los organizadores de la fiesta se beneficiaban de uno de los espectáculos preferidos por el pueblo para realizar exhibiciones con una finalidad eminentemente didáctica, siempre al servicio de la propaganda religiosa.

    The announcement of the beatification of Teresa de Jesús brought with it the organization of several celebrations throughout Spain. The aim of this paper is to analyze those related to firework displays and fireworks, in order to demonstrate how the event organizers benefited themselves from one of the most valuated performances, to make exhibitions with an eminently didactic purpose, with a religious propaganda intention.
