    Este trabajo ofrece el estudio de un manuscrito misceláneo que se conserva en la Real Biblioteca del Monasterio de El Escorial, con signatura h.II.21. Se trata de un volumen facticio copiado en el siglo xvi que recoge, fundamentalmente, obras heráldicas y genealógicas en prosa, aunque también transmite algunos textos poéticos de considerable importancia en los que subyacen tintes historiográficos. El particular proceso de copia de este testimonio nos permitirá identificar a su antígrafo, así como localizar otras fuentes manuscritas que forman parte de la misma tradición textual.

    This work offers the study of a miscellaneous manuscript that is kept in the Royal Library of the Monastery of El Escorial, with signature h.II.21. It is a factitious volume copied in the 16th century that mainly transmits heraldic and genealogical works in prose, although it also transmits some poetic texts of considerable importance that underlie historiographic overtones. The particular process of copying this testimony will allow us to identify its antigraph, as well as to locate other handwritten sources that are part of the same textual tradition.
