Resumen de Observatório da imprensa na internet: uma leitura crítica da mídia brasileira

The Press Observatory conducts, in the Internet, since 1996, the criticism of the Brazilian media, promoting the dialogue with and among readers with the intention of enhance the analyticalsense of the public. This study intended to analyze how this online media help foster mediation between the press and their readers, and the organic and the tools used by the vehicle allow the participation and enhancement of critical audience. The language of the site was also the subject of this research to include the journalism practiced by the new media environment as well as to narrow the debate with younger people.

O Observatório da Imprensa realiza, na internet, desde 1996, a crítica à mídia brasileira, estabelecendo um diálogo juntoaos leitores e entre eles com a intenção de que esse exercício aprimore o senso analítico do público. Esta pesquisa se propôs analisar de que maneira o meio on-line contribui para promover a mediação entre jornalismo e leitores, e se a organicidade e as ferramentas utilizadas pelo veículo permitem a participação e o aprimoramento crítico de seu público. A linguagem do site também foi objeto de estudo, no sentido de incluir o jornalismo praticado pelas novas mídias como veículo de observação e crítica do OI, assim como para aproximar os mais jovens das discussões propostas pelo observatório.
