This article presents new editions of one Greek and two Pahlavi papyri from the periodof Sasanian rule in Egypt (AD 619-629). The three texts, two lists of groceries and one businessletter, provide evidence for the everyday needs and running of the houshold (oikos) or thetemporary base of the high Persian official Saralaneozan. The importance of taking into accountGreek and Pahlavi (as well as Coptic) documents for research on Sasanian Egypt is amplydemonstrated by this joint edition of texts written in different languages
