    El trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar los preceptos constitucionales y legales del turismo sostenible en el Ecuador. La investigación es de tipo bibliográfico con nivel descriptivo, de acuerdo con esto, el método utilizado es el analítico. Se justifica desde cuatro ópticas, a saber: el lado práctico porque se han convertido en costumbre los traslados de una zona a otra por diferentes motivos; desde una justificación teórica porque la investigación promueve y genera antecedentes en la materia, desde lo social debido a los cambios constantes en las actuaciones de los sujetos participantes en la actividad turística, y por el aporte metodológico que trae aparejada la generación de nuevos conocimientos. Se concluye que el turismo es un fenómeno complejo que toca diversas perspectivas económicas, culturales, sociales, jurídicas, ambientales, entre otras, que ameritan asumir al turismo no como el mero traslado sino el enriquecimiento en vivencias, conocimientos y experiencias de las personas que lo realizan, lo cual debe cumplir con el respeto y cuidado de las zonas que se constituyen en necesidad o atractivo turístico, en todo caso con protección de la naturaleza para configurar el Buen Vivir

    The general objective of the work is to analyze the constitutional and legal precepts of sustainable tourism in Ecuador. The research is of a bibliographic type with a descriptive level, according to this, the method used is the analytical method. It is justified from four perspectives, namely: from the practical side because transfers from one area to another for different reasons have become customary, from a theoretical justification because the research promotes and generates antecedents in the matter, from the social point of view due to the constant changes in the actions of the subjects participating in the tourist activity, and the methodological contribution that comes with the generation of new knowledge. It is concluded that tourism is a complex phenomenon that touches various economic, cultural, social, legal, environmental perspectives, among others, that merit assuming tourism not as a mere transfer but rather the enrichment of experiences, knowledge and experiences of the people who do it. They carry out, which must comply with respect and care for the areas that constitute a need or tourist attraction, in any case with protection of nature to configure Good Living
