La tolerancia en Søren Kierkegaard

    El contacto de Kierkegaard con el concepto de tolerancia está condicionado por el uso moderno del término. Esta noción llegó a Dinamarca a través de N. F. S. Grundtvig, una de las principales figuras del contexto intelectual de Kierkegaard. Kierkegaard se aleja de la tolerancia indiferente de Grundtvig, pero también rechaza una intolerancia violenta y coercitiva. En este marco, el objetivo de este artículo es bosquejar el lugar que ocupa la tolerancia en el pensamiento cristiano de Kierkegaard y la contribución que puede significar para repensar las relaciones intersubjetivas y sociales.

    Kierkegaard’s contact with the concept of toleration is conditioned by the modern use of the term. This notion arrived in Denmark through N. F. S. Grundtvig, one of the main figures in Kierkegaard’s intellectual context. Kierkegaard takes distance from Grundtvig’s indifferentist toleration, but at the same time, he rejects a violent and coercive form of intolerance. In this framework, this paper aims to adumbrate the role that toleration plays in Kierkegaard’s Christian thought and the contribution that it might entail to revise intersubjective and social relationships.
