    La urgencia por establecer un nuevo marco normativo de la contratación laboral en el sector de la investigación ha llevado a que, estando todavía en tramitación parlamentaria la re-forma de la Ley de la Ciencia, se haya procedido a la aprobación de una parte de su contenido por medio del RD-ley 8/2022, el cual se ha encargado de regular el nuevo “contrato de actividades científico-técnicas”.En este trabajo se aborda un primer análisis general del contenido de este nuevo contrato a fin de valorar si el papel desempeñado hasta el momento por el contrato para obra o servicio determi-nados en la contratación de personal investigador vinculado a proyectos de investigación, puede ser cubierto por el nuevo contrato indefinido de actividades científico-técnicas.

    The urgency to establish a new regulatory framework for labor contracts in the re-search sector has led to the fact that, while the reform of the Law on Science is still in parliamen-tary process, part of its content has been approved by means of RD-Law 8/2022, which has been in charge of regulating the new “scientific-technical activities contract”.This paper deals with a first general analysis of the content of this new contract in order to as-sess whether the role played so far by the contract for specific works or services in the hiring of research personnel linked to research projects can be covered by the new indefinite contract for scientific-technical activities.
