  La mayor preocupación que tiene el humano y que amenaza la existencia de vida en el planeta tierra, es el Cambio Climático (CC), para Canaza-Choque (2019) estamos inmersos y condenados a vivir en un desenfrenado mundo-consumo que se ha convertido insostenible, arrasando desmedidamente con los recursos naturales y la extinción de algunas especies de flora y fauna. Según Lau & Ramírez (2011) se estima que para el año 2050, la temperatura promedio anual aumente en promedio en un 2.7°C, impactando gravemente la seguridad alimentaria en varias naciones, donde uno de los sectores que más impacto negativo tendrá en términos económicos, será el agropecuario, poniendo en riesgo la seguridad alimentaria de los seres humanos (López-Feldman, 2015).
