    Las competencias del docente creativo generan cambios en la metodología de los procesos de enseñanza y constituyen respuestas asertivas y versátiles ante el desafío de producir conocimientos. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar las competencias del docente creativo y su incidencia en el aprendizaje significativo de los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa “Leonardo Mesías” de la comunidad El Ceibo de Chone. La investigación se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuali cuantitativo, de tipo exploratorio, descriptivo y bibliográfico que fundamentaron las variables de estudio apoyadas en los métodos teóricos, analítico, inductivo y deductivo, para el estudio fáctico; se aplicó una encuesta a estudiantes, docentes y entrevistas a expertos. Los resultados evidencian concepciones acertadas de las características del docente innovador, los beneficios de incorporar la creatividad en el aula, los aprendizajes basados en trabajos colaborativos y el uso de métodos tradicionales de enseñanza que limitan el manejo de esta herramienta. Se concluye que las metodologías creativas facilitan conocimientos, permiten cumplir objetivos de aprendizaje, desarrollar capacidades y potenciar habilidades, se requiere capacitaciones del profesorado y escenarios dinámicos con técnicas motivacionales y comunicativas, además se detectó dificultades en los estudiantes al realizar actividades que promuevan la reflexión y el análisis crítico en la resolución de problemas.

    The competencies of the creative teacher generate changes in the methodology of teaching processes and constitute assertive and versatile responses to the challenge of producing knowledge. The objective of this work is to analyze the competencies of the creative teacher and their impact on the significant learning of the students of the "Leonardo Mesías" Educational Unit of the El Ceibo de Chone community. The research was developed under a qualitative-quantitative, exploratory, descriptive and bibliographic approach that based the study variables supported by theoretical, analytical, inductive and deductive methods, for the factual; study a survey was applied to students, teachers and interviews to experts. The results show accurate conceptions of the characteristics of the innovative teacher, the benefits of incorporating creativity in the classroom, learning based on collaborative work and the use of traditional teaching methods that limit the use of this tool. It is concluded that creative methodologies facilitate knowledge, allow the achievement of learning objectives, develop capabilities and enhance skills, require teacher training and dynamic scenarios with motivational and communicative techniques, and difficulties were detected in students when performing activities that promote reflection and critical analysis in problem solving.
