Wiñay Mallki y Hugo Jamioy Juagibioy: palabras mayores, lucha ancestral y poética indígena

    La pérdida de muchas lenguas nativas y la discriminación cultural son fenómenos que los pueblos indígenas de Colombia han denunciado al hacer referencia a las diferentes violencias que han enfrentado desde que tuvo lugar la colonización española en el siglo xvi. Como consecuencia de este proceso se produjo la invisibilización de las producciones literarias y de oralitura de estas culturas. Este artículo pretende aportar al reconocimiento y la valoración de la obra de Wiñay Mallki y Hugo Jamioy Juagibioy, partiendo de una contextualización histórica y bioetnográfica de los acontecimientos, las luchas y vivencias que inspiran sus poéticas. Aunque ambos creadores producen literatura bilingüe tanto en castellano como en sus lenguas nativas, no será objeto de este ejercicio abarcar la dimensión etnolingüística de sus obras. Más bien se intentará abordar su acto creativo en diálogo con la historia de resistencia y pervivencia de las comunidades en las cuales se formaron. Inicialmente, se explica la importancia que tiene el gran líder indígena del suroccidente colombiano Manuel Quintín Lame Chantre, una de las figuras centrales del periodo etnoliterario, quien contribuyó en las luchas reivindicativas para abrirle camino a los hijos del Abya Yala. A continuación, se analizará, en formato bioetnográfico, la obra de Wiñay Mallki para ver las motivaciones que emergen de su pueblo yanakuna. Luego, de manera similar se presenta una contextualización histórica de lo vivido en Putumayo con respecto a las misiones para entender en qué territorio nace la poesía de Hugo Jamioy Juagibioy y cómo florece en el seno de su pueblo camëntsá. Finalmente, se entabla una relación entre ambos con respecto a las luchas indígenas y sus poéticas

    The loss of many native languages and cultural discrimination are phenomena that the indigenous peoples of Colombia have denounced when referring to the different types of violence they have faced since the Spanish colonization took place in the 16th century. As a consequence of this process, the literary and oral productions of these cultures became invisible. This article aims to contribute to the recognition and appreciation of the work of Wiñay Mallki and Hugo Jamioy Juagibioy, starting from a historical and bioethnographic contextualization of the events, struggles and experiences that inspire their poetry. Although both creators produce bilingual literature both in Spanish and in their native languages, it will not be the object of this exercise to cover the ethnolinguistic dimension of their works. Rather, an attempt will be made to address their creative act in dialogue with the history of resistance and survival of the communities in which they were formed. Initially, the importance of the great indigenous leader of southwestern Colombia, Manuel Quintín Lame Chantre, one of the central figures of the ethnoliterary period, who contributed to the struggles to open the way for the children of Abya Yala, is explained. Next, the work of Wiñay Mallki will be analyzed in bioethnographic format to see the motivations that emerge from his Yanakuna people. Then, in a similar way, a historical contextualization of what was experienced in Putumayo with respect to the missions is presented in order to understand in which territory the poetry of Hugo Jamioy Juagibioy is born and how it flourishes within his Camëntsá people. Finally, a relationship is established between the two regarding the indigenous struggles and their poetics.
