The paper aims to deepen the links between Law (νόµος) and Practical Wisdom (φρόνησις) in Aristotle, showing that the “law” (better, the “good” law), is called to assume a fundamental “healing” power both for the individual and for the community. After crossing the two terms νόµος and φρόνησις and after a brief review of other terms the Greeks called the law with, an in-depth study of the articulations of the notion of wisdom is attempted, examining its relations with justice and equity and intercepting the issues of flexibility (in its epistemological and ethical[1]political implications) and care (ἐπιµέλεια).
