Cobertura y frames periodístico de la violencia hacia la mujer en el Perú

    El presente estudio se encuentra en el marco de la investigación aplicada para establecer las coberturas y frames periodísticos de la violencia hacia la mujer en el Perú en los diarios El Comercio, La República y Correo. Para ello, se realizó un registro de datos de periódicos de circulación nacional en el año 2020. El método empleado fue el descriptivo, siguiendo la línea cuantitativa y el diseño fue descriptivo simple. La presentación de los datos se hizo a través de la estadística descriptiva. En la investigación se encontró que en los tres diarios se efectúa la cobertura de la violencia hacia la mujer. Sin embargo, se estableció que en el diario Correo la cobertura es mayor, respecto a El Comercio y La República. El uso del género periodístico informativo fue el más utilizado por los periódicos para sus reportes, mientras que en los frames, el que más resalta fue el de atribución de responsabilidad, y el de menor uso, el de las consecuencias económicas.

    The study that we present is set within the framework of applied research, to establish the coverage and journalistic frames of violence toward women in Peru; in the newspapers El Comercio, La República and Correo. For this, we made a data record of newspapers from national circulation that was carried in 2020. The method we used was descriptive, following the quantitative line. The design to it corresponds is the simple descriptive one. The data presentation was done through descriptive statistics. The investigation found that the three newspapers cover violence against women. However, it was established that in Correo newspaper the coverage is greater, with respect to El Comercio and La República. The use of the informative journalistic gender was the most used by newspapers for their reports; while in the frames, the one that stands out the most was the attribution of responsibility and the one with the least use, was the economic consequences.
