    En este artículo se notifica la presencia de Lachnaia variolosa (Linnaeus, 1767) en Alicante, siendo este el primer registro de la especia en la provincia ampliando así su distribución en el sureste de la península ibérica, además de su presencia en el sur de Portugal.

    This article reports the presence of Lachnaia variolosa (Linnaeus, 1767), for the first time in Alicante, this being the first record of the species in the province, thus expanding its distribution in the southeast of the iberian peninsula, in addition to its presence in southern Portugal.
