Resumen de A crise de veridicção e o neofantástico: o real a partir de Franz Kafka

This paper aims to investigate the conception of reality that is implicated in the reflection made by the theorists of (neo)fantastic, since it is the way in which reality is conceived that establishes what is fantastic or not. It is from this unstable relationship between the “real” and the “imaginary” that the impact produced by Franz Kafka’s literary work in the twentieth century serves as a fundamental point for scholars such as Jaime Alazraki and David Roas to postulate a neo-fantastic. In semiotic terms, the reflection of these authors is linked to the veridiction crisis mentioned by Greimas (2014) and Fiorin (2008) and indicates that the real, from the writings of Kafka, and in confluence with other events of the mentioned century, passes to be understood in a concessive way (paradoxically). Finally, based on these topics, it will be conducted an analysis of the short story “The Cares of a Family Man”, in order to illustrate these issues in a specific text by the Czech writer.

Este artigo tem o objetivo de investigar a concepção de real que está implicada na reflexão feita pelos teóricos do (neo)fantástico, já que é o modo como se concebe a realidade que estabelece o que é fantástico ou não. É a partir dessa relação movediça entre o “real” e o “imaginário” que o impacto gerado pela obra de Franz Kafka no século XX serve como ponto fundamental para que teóricos como Jaime Alazraki e David Roas postulem um neofantástico. Em termos semióticos, a reflexão desses autores está ligada à crise de veridicção a que aludem Greimas (2014) e Fiorin (2008) e indicia que o real, a partir dos escritos de Kafka, e em confluência com outros acontecimentos do mencionado século, passa a ser visto de modo concessivo (paradoxal). Será a partir desses pontos que, por fim, faremos uma análise do conto “A preocupação do pai de família”, a bem de ilustrarmos essas questões em um texto específico do escritor tcheco.
