This essay tries to make explicit some features of Bolsonaro’s ethos, without emphasizing the electoral effects. To do so, it makes some considerations about interpretation of images by discourse analysis, mentions journalistic articles about politicians’s clothes, and, finally, describes and summarily interprets some Bolsonaro’s images, suggesting a closer relationship between ethos and ethical world, also understood as moral.

Este ensaio tenta explicitar alguns traços do ethos de Bolsonaro, sem insistir muito nos efeitos eleitorais. Para tanto, faz algumas considerações sobre leitura de imagens pela análise do discurso, cita matérias jornalísticas sobre roupas de políticos, e, finalmente, dedica-se a descrever e interpretar sumariamente algumas imagens de Bolsonaro, sugerindo uma relação mais estreita entre ethos e mundo ético, entendido também como moral.
