Análisis de emociones en estudiantes de primer ciclo universitario, en el contexto del Covid-19. Un estudio de caso

    En este trabajo se realiza un análisis de emociones al iniciar un curso universitario de primer año, en contexto Covid-19. En el estudio par-ticiparon 40 estudiantes, y la identificación de emociones se realizó utilizando el cuestionario Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedu-le, panas. El aporte de este trabajo es interpretar los resultados a nivel de grupos. Utilizando clúster jerárquico, se forman y caracterizan gru-pos, etiquetados como optimistas, realistas, pesimistas e indiferentes. La pertenencia a dichos grupos es validada mediante análisis discri-minante. La identificación y caracterización de estos grupos puede direccionar acciones pedagógicas, y con ello constituir un valioso in-sumo en momentos claves del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.

    In this work an analysis of emotions is performed when starting a first year university course, in context Covid-19. 40 students partici-pated in the study, and the identification of emotions was carried out using the Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedule, panas, ques-tionnaire. The contribution of this work is to interpret the results at the group level. Using hierarchical clustering, groups are formed and characterized, being labeled as optimistic, realistic, pessimistic, and indifferent. Membership in these groups is validated by discriminant analysis. The identification and characterization of these groups can direct pedagogical actions, and thus constitute a valuable input at key moments of the teaching-learning process.
