Resumen de The impact of Covid-19 on the expectations of employers in the scope of the skills of business schools' graduates

The Covid-19 pandemic has radically affected many aspects of society. Work has become one of the key areas that has, in many cases, been radically changed. The introduction of remote work at a number of positions was associated with the necessity for employees to acquire new competences or significantly expand the already existing ones. Employers also began to perceive remote work as the equivalent of working at the company's headquarters, and even saw it as an opportunity to rationalize processes and reduce costs. This paper presents the results of research on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on changing employers' expectations regarding the skills of business university graduates. The research method used was an interview with employers from southern Poland using a questionnaire form. The results were compiled based on over 300 obtained questionnaires. As a result, the skills which, according to the employers' opinion, were of greater importance in the pandemic conditions, and the skills whose importance has not changed, were identified.
