    Este artículo presenta el proceso de reflexión y construcción textual detrás del volumen colectivo Mediatization(s). Theoretical Conversations between Europe and Latin America publicado por la editorial Intellect en 2021, un volumen donde investigadores e investigadoras de Europa y América Latina ilustran las principales teorizaciones y enfoques metodológicos sobre la mediatización generados en las últimas dos décadas a ambos lados del Atlántico. Siendo un trabajo colectivo donde se cruzan voces académicas de diferente origen y con propuestas a veces contradictorias, a veces complementarias, los tres editores comparten en este artículo una especie de making of del volumen y ponen especial atención a las coincidencias y fricciones epistemológicas, teóricas y metodológicas detectadas durante su producción.

    This article presents the process of reflection and text construction behind the edited volume Mediatization(s). Theoretical Conversations between Europe and Latin America published by Intellect in 2021. In that book, researchers in Europe and in Latin America illustrate the main theoretical and methodological approaches about mediatization emerged over the last two decades both sides of the Atlantic. It is a collective work in which the different academic voices are in contact and contradict or complement each other. The three editors share in this article a sort of making of of the volume and pay particular attention to the epistemological, theoretical, and methodological commonalities and frictions identified along the edition process.
