    En este trabajo, nos proponemos analizar las fuertes semejanzas formales y estructurales que unen el Comentario anónimo al Tetrabiblos de Tolomeo (Anon.in Ptol.) a los comentarios compuestos en Alejandría por Amonio y sus discípulos entre los siglos V y VI.Hay, en efecto, algunos rasgos significativos que todas esas obras tienen en común: 1) el uso ocasional de ὁ παλαιός para referirse al autor del texto comentado; 2) la coincidencia en expresiones y fórmulas exegéticas; 3) la práctica sistemática de la técnica del doble comen-tario (προθεωρία/λέξις). Todos estos rasgos apuntan con fuerza a la posibilidad de que Anon.in Ptol. pudiera haber sido un producto menor de la actividad exegética desplegadapor la escuela neoplatónica de Alejandría posterior a Amonio.

    The aim of this paper is to examine the strong formal and structural similarities that bind the Anonymous Commentary to Ptolemy’sTetrabiblos (Anon.in Ptol.) to the set of com-mentaries produced by Ammonius and his disciples at Alexandria between the fifth andthe sixth centuries. There are indeed some relevant features shared by all of these works: 1)the occasional use of ὁ παλαιός to mean the author of the commented text; 2) the system atic practice of the ‘double discussion’ technique (προθεωρία / λέξις); 3) common exegetical wordings and phrases. All of these features, I claim,strongly suggest that Anon.in Ptol.might well have been a minor product of the post-Ammonius Alexandrian Neoplatonicschool.
