  Esta investigación se desarrolla por la necesidad de conocer la participación del mercado bursátil o mercado de valores en las actividades empresariales del Ecuador, las ventajas, desventajas y beneficios que brinda a los emisores y los inversionistas; para lograr obtener los datos requeridos en este estudio, se implementó una metodología de carácter no experimental a través de la aplicación de encuestas que permitió establecer el nivel de conocimiento sobre las transacciones realizadas dentro de las bolsas de valores y la apreciación de los emisores con respecto a esta herramienta financiera, lo que permitió a su vez, en conjunto con la teoría recolectada con respecto a este tema desarrollar las respectivas conclusiones correspondientes a esta actividad.PALABRAS CLAVE: Mercado de valores; inversionistas; emisores; títulos de valor; transacciones bursátiles; actividad empresarial.
