    El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar el grado de conocimiento que tienen las mujeres que conviven con su pareja, en la ciudadela “El Florón 2” de la parroquia Andrés de Vera del cantón Portoviejo, sobre las instituciones públicas y organizaciones no gubernamentales que brindan apoyo en caso de violencia contra la mujer. En el proceso de este estudio, se utilizó la investigación de campo, exploratoria y bibliográfica, se realizó una encuesta, procediendo a estratificar la población, obteniendo que 153 mujeres conviven con su pareja en la Ciudadela El Florón 2 del cantón Portoviejo, que representa un 100% de la muestra total que fue estudiada, este resultado evidenció que estas no poseen la información necesaria sobre dónde acudir en caso de violencia, causando repercusiones negativas para esta problemática social.     PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS AND NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR WOMEN VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE ABSTRACT (en Inglés, no más de 250 palabras)The objective of this study was to analyze the degree of knowledge that women have with their partners, in the Citadel "El Florón 2" of the Andrés de Vera Parish of Portoviejo Canton, on public institutions and non-governmental organizations that They provide support in the case of violence to minimize violence against women. In the process of this study, field research, exploratory and bibliographic was used. To analyze their degree of knowledge that women possess, a survey was carried out, proceeding to stratification the population, getting a 153 women who live with their partner in the Citadel the Florón 2 of the Portoviejo Canton, which represents a 100% of the total sample. As a result, it was obtained that a significant percentage of women do not have the necessary information on where to come in case of violence, causing negative repercussions on the women who suffer from this social problem.
