La utilización del término evidencia científica en la cobertura periodística española de la Covid-19

    La pandemia por coronavirus ha incrementa-do la demanda de información y ha cobrado un papel central en las publicaciones perio-dísticas. En estas publicaciones, conceptos científicos como el de evidencia científica se han popularizado y se han presentado al pú-blico. El objetivo de este trabajo es explorar el tratamiento que se le da al término en el entorno digital español mediante la técnica del análisis del contenido, y establecer va-riaciones en el tratamiento según diferentes aspectos, como las fuentes informativas, el género periodístico o los temas abordados, entre otros. Para ello se han estudiado las piezas publicadas por los tres periódicos de mayor tirada en el país: El País, El Mundo yLa Vanguardia. A partir de los resultados, se afirma que no se ha ofrecido un tratamiento profundo al utilizar el término, que se ha utilizado de manera descontextualizada y acrítica, sin ofrecer explicaciones del propio concepto u ofreciendo explicaciones escasas y pobres

    The coronavirus pandemic has increased the demand for information and has tak-en on a central role in journalistic pub-lications. In these publications, scientific concepts such as scientific evidence have been popularized and presented to the public. The objective of this work is to explore the treatment given to the term in the Spanish digital environment by means of the content analysis technique, and to establish variations in the treat-ment according to different aspects, such as the information sources, the jour-nalistic genre or the topics addressed, among others. For this, the pieces pub-lished by the three newspapers with the largest circulation in the country have been studied: El País, El Mundo and La Vanguar-dia. Based on the results, it is stated that a deep treatment has not been offered when using the term, that it has been used in a decontextualized and uncritical way, without offering explanations of the concept itself or offering scant and poor explanations.artistic achievement and unparalleled cinematic exuberance
