Docencia y conciencia. El compromiso social en el trabajo docente (1930-1943)

    El compromiso con las necesidades sociales del medio, como parte constitutiva del rol docente, fue asumido por la Asociación de Maestros de La Pampa, institución que reflejó la conciencia media del magisterio pampeano acerca del "deber ser" de su trabajo. Para ejercitar este y postulados tales como la defensa de la escuela pública y el laicismo. enfrentó un clima ideológico adverso. Tal clima -y sus prácticas represivas a cargo del Consejo Nacional de Educación- podría identificarse a grandes rasgos con el apogeo del nacionalismo restaurador emergente en el golpe militar de 1930 y su continuidad en el nacionalismo católico que acompañó el golpe militar de 1943. Entre ambos sucesos, la confrontación CNE-AMP es analizada desde casos emblemáticos, sobre los que pueden tenderse "puentes" intelectuales que enlacen hechos del pasado entre si y con el presente, todo ello desde un universo ideológico que se identifica con la fertilidad dialéctica del conflicto.

    The commitment with La Pampa's social needs as a constituent of the teacher's role, was taken on by the AMP (La Pampa Teachers' Association). The AMP reflected the average conscience of La Pampa school teachers about the inherent spirit in their job. To exercise this and other postulates, such as the defense of the public school and laicism, the AMP had to face an adverse Ideological atmosphere. This atmosphere and its repressive practices - in charge of the CNE (National Council of Education) - could be identified broadly with the height of the restorative nationalism emergent in the 1930 coup d’état, and its continuity in the catholic nationalism that supported the 1943 coup d’état Between these two events, the confrontation CNE - AMP is analyzed from the point of view of emblematic cases, over which intellectual links can be built. These links connect past events among themselves and with the present from an ideological universe identified with the dialectical fertility of the conflict.
