Resumen de Morfología de los paisajes tradicionales en la España interior: potencialidad de lo rural construido para un futuro más sostenible

  La demanda de una nueva cultura del territorio enfrenta el proyecto sostenible con los interrogantes de un medio rural abandonado, sobre todo en los paisajes menores de la España interior, donde las relaciones entre “campo” y “ciudad” deberían ser regeneradas. ¿En qué medida la forma de los paisajes tradicionales del medio rural es un activo de futuro? Superando tanto la idea de sostenibilidad asociada a un entorno sin desarrollo, de refugio en retroceso, como la visión patrimonial de un campo sin dolor, emerge una lectura “activa” del territorio dirigida a repensar desde dentro espacios muy antropizados, aunque en declive. Es aquí donde una serie de proyectos realizados o en curso por nuestro grupo de investigación desarrollan desde el paisaje una herramienta de conocimiento operativo y detectan en la morfología de lo construido en los espacios rurales un potencial no sometido exclusivamente a los intereses del turismo o la segunda residencia, de urbanitas en descanso, sino abierto a un proyecto global de hábitat más sostenible.

  The demand for a new culture of territory confronts the sustainable project with the uncertainties of an abandoned rural environment, especially in the smaller landscapes of inland Spain, where the relationship between "countryside" and "city" should be regenerated. To what extent is the form of traditional rural landscapes an asset for the future? Overcoming both the idea of sustainability associated with an undeveloped environment, a shrinking refuge, and the patrimonial vision of a countryside without pain, an "active" reading of the territory emerges, aimed at rethinking from inside highly anthropised but declining spaces. It is here that a series of projects carried out or in progress by our research group develop an operational knowledge tool from the landscape and detect in the morphology of the built in rural spaces a potential not exclusively subjected to the interests of tourism or second homes, of urbanites at rest, but open to a global project of a more sustainable habitat.
