    In this article we will elaborate the current situation in socio-economic terms and the challenges of Kosovo faced with the social policies and the engagement of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in the transition phase after independence have been constructed, by presenting credible reports with analysis, research and monitoring of institutions in commitment to improvement of social policies in the country. Social policies in Kosovo as such have gone through very complex phases, and as such, initially in the political aspect that the country is facing and also in terms of carrying the consequences of the 1998/99 war and have changed given the fact that everything has started from almost zero point since the time of the administration of the country by the UN mission respectively during the period 1999-2008 and continuing to the challenges of building Kosovo institutions in the post-independence phase under monitoring and support of the European Union.     En este artículo trataremos la actual situación de Kósovo en términos socioeconómicos, los retos a los que se ha enfrentado el país en políticos sociales y la implicación de las instituciones en la fase de transición tras la independencia, todo ello a través de informes fiables con análisis, investigaciones y seguimiento de instituciones comprometidas con la mejora de las políticos sociales en el país. Las políticos sociales en Kósovo han pasado varias fases muy complejas, en primer lugar, debido a la situación político que enfrenta el país, pero también por las consecuencias que arrastra desde la guerra de 1998/99, tras la cual tuvieron que iniciarse prácticamente de cero con el pafs administrado por la ONU entre 1999 y 2008, o en el periodo inmediatamente posterior bajo la supervisión y el apoyo de la Unión Europea, en el que se enfrentaba al reto de la construcción de las instituciones.
