Resumen de Saberes matemáticos previos en el tema de Sucesiones Numéricas de los estudiantes de segundo año de la carrera Ingeniería en Ciencias Informáticas

  En la Universidad de Ciencias Informáticas (UCI) de La Habana los resultados académicos en la disciplina Matemática, en particular en la asignatura Matemática III, perteneciente al programa de la carrera Ingeniería en Ciencias Informáticas, son bajos. Teniendo en cuenta que en esta asignatura el Tema de Series Numéricas y de Funciones tiene un peso curricular notable, se hace una indagación de los conocimientos previos que tienen los estudiantes respecto a las sucesiones numéricas, tema que en la asignatura Matemática Discreta, que pertenece al primer año, se introducen los elementos básicos. La indagación se hace tomando como base el papel relevante que tienen estos contenidos para un aprendizaje eficiente en el Tema de Sucesiones Numéricas y de Funciones en Matemática III. Por tanto, los autores se proponen como objetivo fundamental indagar el nivel de aprendizaje de los saberes matemáticos previos, sobre sucesiones numéricas, de los estudiantes de segundo año y que son básicos para la comprensión eficiente de los contenidos del tema de sucesiones numéricas y de funciones que aparecen en la Matemática III.

  In the University of Computer Science (UCI) of Havana, academic results in Mathematics, particularly in the subject Mathematics III, are low. Taking into account that in this subject the Subject of Numerical Series and Functions has a remarkable curricular weight, it is made an investigation of the previous knowledge that students have regarding numerical successions, subject that in the subject Discrete Mathematics, which belongs to the first year, the basic elements are introduced. The investigation is made taking as a base the relevant role that these contents have for an efficient learning in the Subject of Numerical Successions and Functions in Mathematics III. Therefore, the authors propose as a fundamental objective to investigate the level of learning of the previous mathematical knowledge, about numerical successions, of the second-year students and that are basic for the efficient understanding of the contents of the topic of numerical successions and functions that appear in Mathematics III.
