    Las representaciones mediáticas y productos audiovisuales sobre migración a menudo simplifican el fenómeno al presentarlo exclusivamente como una salida a la falta de oportunidades o a la persecución en los países emisores, o al subrayar la anonimidad, precariedad y victimización que inmigrantes y refugiados sufren en los países receptores. Dos productos culturales que tratan de aportar una visión más compleja son los que se analizan en este texto: Origen, de Maribel Sánchez Maroto y Ana Pastor (2020), y No nacimos refugiados, de Claudio Zulián (2020), desafían los mitos de la migración a Europa, alentando el emprendimiento nacional en los países de origen, y rehuyendo las connotaciones negativas asociadas a la noción de refugio. Este ensayo examina el enfoque testimonial y colaborativo de ambos documentales, así como su intención de generar «impacto» y subrayar la experiencia contra-migratoria o la «condición post-migrante» de sus protagonistas.

    Media representations and audio-visual products that focus on migration often simplify the phenomenon by presenting it solely as the consequence of lack of opportunity and persecution in the sending countries, and in terms of the immigrants’ anonymity, homogeneity, precarity, and victimization in the receiving countries. Two cultural products that provide a more complex vision are examined in this essay: Origen, by Maribel Sánchez Maroto and Ana Pastor (2020), and No nacimos refugiados, by Claudio Zulián (2020). They both challenge the myths of migration promoting national ventures in the countries of origin, and shy away from the negative connotations linked to the notion of refuge. This text examines the testimonial and collaborative approach of both documentaries, as well as their goal of generating «impact» and highlighting the counter-migrant experience or the «post-migrant condition» of their protagonists.
