La trascendencia de la nación y de la persona: lo heroico, lo post-heroico y sus narrativas modernas

    El presente trabajo tiene por objeto llevar a cabo un análisis de dos narrativas presentes en las sociedades actuales: la heroica-nacional y la post-heroica, que nos ofrecen una certera medida del carácter sacralizador o re-sacralizador de las sociedades modernas y seculares. Para llevar a cabo esta tarea, en un primer momento, estableceremos las bases conceptuales sobre las que se articulan los procesos de sacralización moderna, para lo que utilizaremos los conceptos de trascendencia y religiosidad en los trabajos de autores tan significativos como Georg Simmel, Émile Durkheim, Alfred Schütz y Thomas Luckmann o Max Weber. Una vez realizada esta labor, y en un segundo momento, presentamos dos de las sacralizaciones más importantes vinculadas a la «Era Secular»: las que se articulan alrededor de la nación y de la persona. De este modo, a partir de ellas y en un tercer paso, llevaremos a cabo un análisis en profundidad de las dos narrativas señaladas anteriormente, llegando a la conclusión de que las mismas conviven en la actualidad en un estado de tensión dinámica, actuando como claros símbolos de la vitalidad religioso-secular y de la gran heterogeneidad de fórmulas de sacralización que alberga esta época.

    The purpose of this paper is to carry out an analysis of two narratives present in today’s societies: the heroic-national and the post-heroic, which offer us an accurate measure of the sacralizing or re-sacralizing character of modern and secular societies. To carry out this task, we will first establish the conceptual bases on which the processes of modern sacralization are articulated, using the concepts of transcendence and religiosity in the works of authors as significant as Georg Simmel, Émile Durkheim, Alfred Schütz and Thomas Luckmann or Max Weber. Once this work has been done, and in a second moment, we present two of the most important sacralizations linked to the «Secular Era»: those that are articulated around the nation and the person. In this way, based on them and in a third step, we will carry out an in-depth analysis of the two narratives mentioned above, reaching the conclusion that they currently coexist in a state of dynamic tension, acting as clear symbols of the religious-secular vitality and of the great heterogeneity of formulas of sacralization that this era harbors.
