    En el marco de una investigación sistemática acerca de las teorías contextuales de la justicia, se analizan unas tesis elaboradas sobre el nexo entre contexto y universalidad en la filosofía intercultural de R, Fornet-Betancourt. Se precisan los principales y sistemáticos aportes de una concepción intercultural de la justicia cognitiva y en el que se valora especialmente la tesitura histórica y antropológica. El trabajo postula que la relación entre el contexto y la universalidad es central para una idea de la justicia  que crítica el ideario epistémico de la ciencia dominante y el modo de instrumentalizarla que subyace en los problemas económicos, políticos y culturales de nuestro tiempo global. Se recogen los principales ejes del debate, y se proponen nuevas articulaciones y desafíos, para un pensamiento crítico.

    Within the framework of a systematic investigation about the contextual theories of justice, some theses elaborated on the link between context and universality in the intercultural philosophy of R, Fornet-Betancourt are analyzed. The main and systematic contributions of an intercultural conception of cognitive justice are specified and in which the historical and anthropological context is especially valued. The work posits that the relationship between context and universality is central to an idea of justice that criticizes the epistemic ideology of the dominant science and the way of instrumentalizing it that underlies the economic, political and cultural problems of our global time. The main axes of the debate are collected, and new articulations and challenges are proposed for critical thinking.
