    En el siglo XIX el hogar se convertiría en un reino para la mujer. Los artistas testimoniaron este universo femenino representando a la mujer en escenas idealizadas dentro del ámbito privado, y reprodujeron situaciones donde la mujer quedaba expuesta a la superioridad varonil. Hechos que no recibían ningún tipo de reprobación social y muy acordes con los discursos misóginos que primaban entonces. En este estudio a través de la literatura y la imagen se expondrán algunas de estas circunstancias.

    In the nineteenth century, the home would become a kingdom for women. The artists testified to this feminine universe by representing women in idealized scenes within the private sphere and reproduced situations where women were exposed to male superiority. Facts that did not receive any social reprobation were consistent with the misogynistic discourses that prevailed then. In this study, some of these circumstances will be exposed through literature and image.
