Las hermanas Brontë crearon unas heroínas que lucharon contra la violencia de género en el siglo XIX. En este estudio analizaremos la violencia de género que sufren dos personajes femeninos en Wuthering Heights (1847) y en The Tenant of Widfell Hall (1848). En primer lugar, analizaremos el caso de Isabella Linton en la narrativa de Emily Brontë y en segundo lugar estudiaremos al personaje de Helen Huntingdon.

The Brontë sisters created females heroines who fought against gender violence in the 19th century. In this study I will analyze the gender violence suffered by two female characters in Wuthering Heights (1847) and The Tenant of Widfell Hall (1848). In the first place, I will analyze the case of Isabella Linton in Emily Brontë’s narrative and, secondly, I will study the character of Helen Huntingdon.
