  La campaña realizada ha consistido en la ampliación del sondeo (n.º 4) excavado en años anteriores. La intervención ha permitido constatar la presencia de un urbanismo islámico en la zona central del cabezo. Probablemente esto se deba a un cambio de uso del hábitat a partir de la conquista cristiana, momento en el que se produciría un desplazamiento de población hacia las zonas bajas del cerro. En la zona alta se acometería un arrasamiento y aplanado de construcciones para configurar un recinto defensivo, con patio de armas y dependencias, circundado por una muralla.

  The campaign carried out consisted of expanding the borehole (n.º 4) excavated in previous years. The intervention has made it possible to verify the presence of an Islamic urbanism in the central area of the head. This is probably due to a change in the use of the habitat from the Christian conquest, at which time there would be a population shift towards the lower areas of the hill. In the upper area, a leveling and flattening of buildings would be undertaken to configure a defensive enclosure, with a parade ground and outbuildings, surrounded by a wall.

  Kanpaina horretan, aurreko urteetan induskatutako zundaketa (4. zk.) handitu da. Esku-hartzeari esker, tontorraren erdialdean hirigintza islamikoa dagoela egiaztatu da. Segur aski, hori gertatu da kristauen konkistatik aurrera habitataren erabilera aldatu zelako eta une horretan biztanleak muinoaren beheko aldeetarantz mugituko zirelako. Goiko aldean eraikinak eraitsi eta lautu eginen ziren, babes-esparru bat eratzeko, arma-patioa eta gelak zituena, baita harresi bat inguruan ere.
