    Se presentan los resultados del estudio de los restos arqueobotábicos de un depósito excavado en un drenaje del municipio romano de Lucentum, y su contextualización a finales del siglo I d. C. Pese a la exigüidad de los restos, y la parquedad de datos del registro arqueobotánico valenciano para época romana, este trabajo muestra las posibilidades que este tipo de análisis ofrece como un elemento más para aproximarse a la historia de las comunidades que han habitado en este territorio a lo largo de la historia, permitiendo el planteamiento de hipótesis del ámbito socio-económico sobre las que futuras investigaciones deberán profundizar.

    The results of the study of the archaeological remains of a deposit excavated in a drainage of the Roman municipality of Lucentum are showed, and its contextualization at the end of the 1st century AD. Despite the meagerness of the remains, and the paucity of data from the Valencian archaeobotanical record for Roman times, this work shows the possibilities that this type of analysis offers as one more element to approach the history of the communities that have inhabited in this territory throughout history, allowing the establishment of socio-economic hypotheses on which future research should deepen.
