Resumen de Mapeando la evolución investigativa de la web semántica: análisis y visualización cienciométrica

  La Web semántica ha tomado gran importancia para el desarrollo múltiples industrias, tanto a nivel comercial como científico, generando la necesidad de varios estudios del campo. Este documento analiza la Web Semántica desde 1995 hasta el 2020Q1 (primer cuarto del año). El principal aporte de este estudio es la identificación de patrones en las publicaciones, incluyendo, a los más importantes autores e instituciones, categorías de alta frecuencia y palabras clave, revistas y contribuciones de autor, temas de investigación más importantes y evolución del campo basado en análisis grupal. La metodología utilizada fue una aproximación cienciométrica basada en un análisis bibliométrico. Registros desde WOS y Scopus han sido reunidos usando dos herramientas bibliométricas: CiteSpace y SciMAT.

  The last decades the research of semantic web has taken great importance for the development of multiple industries at a commercial level and from the scientific point of view, this led to the need for various studies on this field. This paper analyzes the field of semantic web from 1995 to 2020Q1 (first quarter of the year) identifying the patterns from the publications, including the most important authors and institutions; high-frequency categories and keywords;

  journal and author contributions; most important research topics and evolution of the field based on cluster analysis. A scientometric approach based on bibliometric analysis is employed. Records from WOS and Scopus have been gathered using two bibliometric tools CiteSpace and SciMAT.
