Resumen de Dios en los confines. La cuestión de Dios en una cultura postcristiana

En el presente artículo pretendo compendiar algunas de las cuestiones más significativas que nuestra cultura actual plantea en torno a la cuestión de Dios. Una vez clarificado el adjetivo postcristiana referido a nuestra cultura o qué entendemos por postcristianismo (1), he resumido estas cuestiones fronterizas (confines) en torno al nuevo debate por la existencia de Dios entre ateísmo y teísmo (2); la pregunta por su realidad como ser personal o como absoluto misterio incomprensible, tal y como defienden corrientes apofáticas radicales (3); la cuestión de la posibilidad de su acción y presencia en el mundo en un mundo comprendido desde la mentalidad científica (4) y, finalmente, la cuestión en torno a su confesión monoteísta y la actual alabanza del politeísmo (5). Desde este trasfondo de problemas, apostamos por profundizar en el carácter incomprensible del misterio de Dios que siempre está más allá de nuestro horizonte, pero este misterio es siempre trinitario, tal y como se ha revelado él mismo en la historia (6).

In this article I intend to summarize some of the most significant issues that our current culture raises around the question of God. Having clarified the adjective post-Christian in reference to our culture or what we understand by post-Christianity (1), I have summarized these borderline questions (edges) around the new debate on the existence of God between atheism and theism (2); the question of his reality as a personal being or as an absolute incomprehensible mystery, as defended by radical apophatic currents (3); the question of the possibility of his action and presence in the world in a world understood from a scientific mentality (4); and, finally, the question of his monotheistic confession and the current praise of polytheism (5). From this background of problems, we are committed to deepen in the incomprehensible character of the mystery of God that is always beyond our horizon, but this mystery is always Trinitarian, as it has revealed itself in history (6).
