El presente trabajo busca indagar el sentido ominoso del párrafo Éxodo 4: 24-26, el que parece remitirse a un antiguo ritual religioso, aparentemente madianita, señalando las discrepancias que el mismo presenta en relación al conjunto de relatos del Pentateuco referidos a la figura de Moisés. A partir de allí se interroga sobre la Divinidad, Zipora (como esposa-sacerdotisa) y el papel de la circuncisión dentro de una especie de casamiento ritual impuesto por el embadurnamiento de sangre, que es a la vez ritual de engendramiento del Héroe y ritual de contención del furor de la Divinidad. Se hace además un repaso a otros significados que hacen al “destino” de Moisés en relación a como se lo presenta en los escritos veterotestamentarios.

The present paper seeks to investigate the ominous meaning of the paragraph Exodus 4: 24-26, which seems to refer to an ancient religious ritual, apparently Midianite, pointing out the discrepancies that it presents in relation to the set of accounts of the Pentateuch referring to the figure of Moses. From there, he wonders about the Divinity, Zipora (as wife-priestess) and the role of circumcision within a kind of ritual marriage imposed by the bloodstain, which is both the ritual of begetting the Hero and the ritual containment of the fury of the Divine. There is also a review of other meanings that mark the "destiny" of Moses in relation to how it is presented in the Old Testament writings.
