  • For Turkish and Yemenite history the political and cultural impact of the Ottoman Empire is very important. In this sense, this article explores the Anatolian folk song for soldiers who died and fought in Yemen and their relationship with Turkish Folk Music, music genre characterised for expressing the feelings and thoughts of people.
