Resumen de Heraud: Itinerario de un viaje

  Este artículo fue escrito hace 25 años. Por alguna razón que no recuerdo ya, no se publicó. Pero allí estaba escrito, naturalmente a máquina, entre la revista trujillana Avance (julio de 1964) la que publicó un artículo mío titulado “Javier Heraud en Rusia” ilustrado con 5 fotografías alusivas. Entonces lo hice fundamentalmente para demostrar la proterva afirmación que La Prensa, diario de Pedro Beltrán Espantoso, había difundido. Para “explicar” la sorpresiva militancia revolucionaria de Javier se permitió decir que: “le habían hecho un lavado cerebral en su viaje a la URSS”. Inaudita afirmación que resultaba totalmente inverosímil e incompatible con los hechos de ese corto viaje del cual éramos testigos todos los que fuimos con él.

  This article was written 25 years ago. For some reason I can no longer remember. It was not published. But, there it was written; naturally, it was typed in a typewriter, along with the Magazine Avance from Trujillo (July 1964) which published an article of mine entitled "Javier Heraud in Russia" illustrated with 5 related pictures. Back then I did it mainly to demonstrate the perverse assertion that La Prensa, a Pedro Beltran Espantoso's newspaper had spread. To "explain" the surprising revolutionary militancy, alleged that "he had been brainwashed during his trip to the USSR". The unprecedented statement was totally implausible and inconsistent with the facts of that short trip which we all, the ones who went with him, witnessed.
