Resumen de Empowerment y desempeño docente en la institución educativa Javier Heraud de Trujillo, Perú

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre el empowerment (empoderamiento) y el desempeño docente en la institución educativa Javier Heraud de Trujillo, Perú. Se enmarcó en las investigaciones descriptivas con un diseño correlacional a partir de una muestra de 40 docentes. La recolección de datos se obtuvo a través de dos cuestionarios; uno para cada variable, considerándose válido y confiable. Los resultados arrojaron que el p – valor (Sig.) es de 0,038 es menor que 0,05, entonces a un 5% de confianza se rechaza la Hipótesis nula y el coeficiente de correlación Pearson es 0,330 e indica que existe relación directa baja. Se concluye que el empowerment tiene una relación directa con el desempeño docente. Se recomienda ejecutar un Plan de gestión sobre el empowerment como un factor importante en la mejora del desempeño docente para favorecer a toda la comunidad educativa.

This study aimed to determine the relationship between empowerment and teacher performance in the Educational Institution Javier Heraud of Trujillo, Peru. It was framed within descriptive investigations with a correlational design starting from a sample of 40 teachers. Data collection was obtained through two valid and reliable questionnaires -one for each variable. The results showed that the p - value (Sig.) is 0.038, which is less than 0.05, and then to 5% confidence level, the null Hypothesis is rejected, and the Pearson correlation coefficient is 0.330, indicating that there is little direct relationship. It is concluded that empowerment is directly related to teacher performance. It is recommended to implement a management plan about the empowerment as an important factor in improving teacher performance to favor the complete educational community.
