Resumen de Política, religión e indigenismo en Los heraldos negros

  El propósito de este artículo es explicar los aspectos más importantes y subyacentes en el poemario Los heraldos negros; el primero, el pensamiento político que asume el poeta, a manera de un socialismo incipiente y embrionario, frente a las arbitrariedades de la repúbli­ca aristocrática que subyugó a la clase trabajadora; el segundo, el religioso que muestra el carácter heterodoxo de su religiosidad forjada desde su niñez, su fe y creencias religiosas, las cuales son parte de su vida cotidiana y por último, su filiación indígena como producto de su experiencia al observar de muy cerca el sufrimiento de la clase trabajadora, en su mayoría indios, lo condujo al deseo reivindicatorio de esta raza ancestral. En conclusión, en este trabajo se explica que la columna vertebral de esta fundamental obra, que apareció a fines de la segunda década del siglo XX, son los tres aspectos antes mencionados.

  The purpose of this article is to explain the most important and underlying aspects of the col­lection of poems Los Heraldos Negros (The black heralds). The first, the political thought assumed by the poet, as an incipient and embryonic socialism against the arbitrariness of the aristocratic republic that subjugated the working class. The second, the religious, which shows the heterodox character of his religiosity forged from his childhood, his faith and re­ligious beliefs, which are part of his daily life. Finally, his indigenous affiliation as a result of his experience when observing very closely the suffering of the working class, mostly Indians, led him to the vindicatory desire of this ancestral race. In conclusion, this work ex­plains that the backbone of this fundamental work, which appeared at the end of the second decade of the twentieth century, are the three aspects mentioned above.
