    Las traducciones realizadas o atribuidas a César Vallejo se han convertido en el punto neu­rálgico de este estudio que de manera minuciosa vincula los datos que le permiten demos­trar cuáles obras han sido traducidas por el poeta santiaguino, como En el Perú: en torno al continente latino con el “Jules Michelet”; Elevación y La calle sin nombre. Asimismo, es admisible e incuestionable que haya realizado la traducción de poemas de Ribemont y Re­verdy los cuales, definitivamente, no le corresponden y, por alguna confusión, le han sido atribuidas su autoría, como en el caso de la novela La jument verte, 1933. Al final, se recoge la idea de Vallejo sobre la denegación de la traducción de la poesía y al mismo tiempo la mordaz crítica sobre la carencia de originalidad en la vanguardia latinoamericana.

It is also admissible and unquestionable that he has made the translation of Ribe­mont and Reverdy poems which, definitely, do not correspond to him and, due to some confusion, have been attributed to him, as in the case of the novel La jument verte, 1933 In the end, Vallejo’s idea about the denial of the translation of poetry and at the same time the scathing criticism about the lack of originality in the Latin American avant-garde.
