Resumen de "Fansubbing" no Brasil: Legendagem amadora de fã para fã e a interação nas comunidades online

Amateur subtitling made by fans, also known as fansubbing, is a very popular worldwide phenomenon. In Brazil, one of the biggest producers of fan-made subtitling in the world, the strength and participation of the fan communities in online pages and websites is a very relevant aspect. Therefore, this study intents to go beyond the usual comparison of the translation choices made in official and fan-made subtitles, presenting a Iittle about the relation between fan-producers and fan-consumers of these subtitles.

A legendagem amadora feita por fãs, ou o chamado fansubbing, é um fenomeno mundial bastante conhecido. No Brasil, um dos maiores produtores de legendas amadoras do mundo, a força e participação das comunidades de fãs em páginas e sites da internet é um fator de grande relevância. Assim, este trabalho propõe ir além da costumeira comparação das escolhas tradutórias entre legendas oficiais e legendas amadoras, apresentando um pouco das relações entre os fãs-produtores e os fas-consumidores de legendas.
