    En esta nota se reflexiona a partir de una situación que vivió una alumna de tercerq durante sus prácticas: algunos pacientes de los servicios de rehabilitación tienen menos interés en curarse que en alargar la baja laboral lo más posible. El autor señala la importancia del fisioterapeuta para detectar a estas personas que abusan de las ayudas del sistema público y proporciona argumentos éticos y legales para que el profesional no tolere esas actitudes. Por último, indica algunas pautas de comportamiento para resolver esta situación.

    This article reflects on the case posed by a third-year student: during her clinical training, she worked with a patient who, while necessitating physiotherapy, was less interested in recovering health than in enjoying extended sicknessleave benefits. The author highlights the importance of the physiotherapist in detecting these persons who abuse the help of the system and provides the professional with several ethical and legal reasons why the situation should not be tolerated. The article ends with sorne guidelines on how to salve this problem.
